Kim has been practising at Pineapple Dance Studios since 1990, and over the last 30 years has treated patients; using Remedial Massage, Reflexology and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Kim’s early career started as a professional ballet dancer performing in UK ballet companies, London West End shows and Royal Opera Ballet, which led to an interest and later study of therapies in assisting dancers to maintain all round health, i.e. posture, prevention of injuries, good diet and optimum energy.
Kim started by treating professional dancers, musicians, and actors, but over the years practising and through word of mouth, her clientele has extended to include people from other professional bodies and the general public.
Kim’s interest is not only joint pain, muscle spasm, and pulled tendons, but she also enjoys ensuring that internal health is also looked after. Kim’s dietary and lifestyle advice is greatly appreciated by her clientele.
We are now in Spring now!!
It is one of the most treacherous times of the year for health issues. It is so strange as after Winter we long for Spring and, in our minds, Spring is warm breezes, flowers budding, bird song, lighter evenings, a heightened feeling in our bodies as we throw off the gloom of Winter.
However, is it like that? Could it be – like this year: Cold!! Wintery winds!! Heating on!! Sneezing!! Still wearing scarves!
Kim Mendez offers time out from City stress and some of life's more hectic demands.
All her treatments are taylored to the individuals needs
Kim's knowledge of Chinese medicine has developed a greater understanding of the human body.
